Ms. Green teaches 2nd and 3rd Grade Math and Science. Throughout her 22-year tenure in education, she has taught grades Kindergarten through 12th in subjects spanning Language Arts, Math, History, Science, and Journalism. Ms. Green graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Arts in Mass Communication and English from the University of South Florida.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Central Michigan University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.  Ms. Green earned numerous honors including Teacher of the Year, Outstanding Young Women of America, Outstanding Student Leader, and Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities, three times.  Additionally, she has been tapped as a Fellow by numerous educator fellowships such as America Achieves National Fellowship as a Lead Fellow, Colorado Educator’s Voice Fellowship, Colorado Core Advocates, National Core Advocates, Master Teacher Fellowship, Crossroads on Education Fellowship, and University of South Florida Graduate Fellowship.  She has been an invited speaker and presenter in several distinguished conferences including Global Mind Ed, ECET2 (Elevating and Celebrating Effective Teaching and Teachers), CCIRA (Colorado Chapter of the International Reading/Literacy Association) Conferences on Literacy, America Achieves Launch Convening, Colorado Educator’s Voice Fellowship Convenings, Teacher2Teacher Educational Workshops, and Crossroads Educational Conference. 

In her free time, Candice serves on the Navy League-Denver Board of Directors, on the CCIRA Board of Directors and Conference Planning Committee, as the JCIRA Immediate Past-President, and as the Education Liaison for the USS Colorado Commissioning Committee. Candice remains a proud parent of a US Air Force Airmen and a published author of several educational and literary articles, and she is currently writing two fictional novels.
